We repair the things that most technicians don't; out of production and antique ranges, ovens, and cook tops. We handle the difficult jobs that require out of the box thinking. Sometimes they are really simple jobs, but if you don't know, well, you just don't know.
We started repairing these ranges more than 10 years ago so many of the people who trained the Stove Lady have since retired. And most new people out of appliance school, if there is such a thing, don't know where to begin so they encourage people to throw these family centerpieces away and start anew.
Many new appliance manufactures stop making parts after six or seven years. It has been the case that a client who purchased a new refrigerator from me 7 years ago found out the hard way that parts she needed were no longer available. I couldn't believe it.
If you can still get parts, the newer appliances parts are catalogued by model number. Antique and retro parts are not catalogued by model number. If your appliance is vintage, antique or retro we may not be able to give a quote on our initial visit as we may have to take pictures of the parts and get prices quotes from our vendors. This can take from one day to a week, possibly more if they have to do a search for the part(s) as well. Every effort is made to find what you need and most times we are successful. We are committed and will constantly look for hard to find parts even after a week or two has ended.
Quote from Many Customers and Our Response: "A repair man told me the parts are not available, but the Stove Lady fixed it!"
We have access to many appliance parts vendors all over the country. We go about our parts search differently than most companies do. Try us, you may be pleasantly surprised.
